Some Ways That Bavarian Motor Works Is Giving Back To Their Neighborhoods

Another way the BMW is giving back is by protecting our environment. Instead of using natural gas to power their plant, they utilize the methane gas that is released from a nearby landfill. Each year, this plant prevents 17,000 tons of greenhouses gases from being released into the air, enough to drive around the world 4,300 times. However, Spartanburg is only the American branch of BMW. All combined, BMW plants around the world have reduced their emissions by a full third in the last ten years.
